Tofu and Oyster Mushroom Stir-Fry Recipe

This Tofu and Oyster Mushroom Stir-Fry is a flavorful and nutritious vegetarian dish that comes together quickly. Tofu and mushrooms are stir-fried in a savory soy sauce and cornstarch slurry, resulting in a deliciously thick and satisfying sauce that coats each bite.

Instructions

  • To make a slurry, combine the soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
  • Stir-fry the tofu cubes for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • Stir-fry the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger in the wok or skillet for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir-fry the oyster mushrooms in the wok or skillet for another 2-3 minutes, or until softened and slightly browned.
  • Stir the soy sauce and cornstarch slurry into the tofu and mushroom mixture until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
