Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Whisk together the cornstarch, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Toss the cubed tofu with half of the soy sauce mixture in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the vegetable oil.
  • Cook, breaking up the ground pork with a spoon, until browned and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Cook the sliced red onion and minced garlic in the skillet for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is crispy and golden brown, approximately 6-8 minutes.
  • Toss the tofu mixture with the remaining soy sauce mixture to coat.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the tofu is crispy and the pork is cooked through, on a baking sheet.
  • Serve immediately.
